In the winter, we learn about polar bears! I showed the kids how tall a real polar was is by having them lay down in a line.
Below, you will see the kids making their polar bear craft. We also wrote polar bear facts during reading centers at my teacher table!
I LOVE how they turned out! Super cute!
Below is my sweet grandson! He was born in December, but when I was looking in my February pictures, I came across these and I'm shamelessly sharing them!
Will, Alex, and Scout put together the 120 puzzle as a math fast finisher! The kids always want me to take their picture after they've accomplished this!
Jett, Rosalie, Kate, Della, and Abigail also put the puzzle together during their center time!
Below is the display downstairs of our polar bears! Don't you think they are adorable?!
Below, during math centers, one of the rotations was to use different things to measure a polar bear paw! The polar bear paw print that we made was the actual size of a real polar bear paw!
Below, is my granddaughter, Everly and Della. I told Della all year that she reminded me of my granddaughter. They came to visit us from South Carolina for a week! I told my daughter to bring the girls to school so my class could meet them!
Below ~ my granddaughters from South Carolina ~ Everly and Brynleigh!
Below is one of our many indoor recesses for the month. The kids wanted me to take a picture to show their parents!
I hope you enjoyed my "better late than never" pictures from February 2022!
