I must say, I LOVE technology in the classroom! It has really enhanced the way I teach as well as the way the kids can be engaged in the learning. I had to move the past 6 years of my teaching stuff to an upstairs classroom this summer and I was so bummed because the Promethean boards upstairs do not adjust down to allow the kids to reach them. Sooooooo, when I received the news about the move, I wasted no time in emailing Mr. Tatum. I begged him for an adjustable board upstairs for the first grade teachers. He said, "yes"! Woo hoo! They are ordered but haven't been delivered yet, so we are being resourceful in finding things the kids can safely stand on. Here are pictures of our very first math lesson.
