We did a math lesson in our pumpkins unit about estimating and measure circumference of a pumpkin.

We did another math activity where the students estimated the number of seeds in their pumpkin. Then the students counted the seeds to see exactly how many were there. Some students sorted and counted their seeds by 1's, some by 2's, some by 5's, and some by 10's.
We were reading the book "Owl Moon" so we had to make an owl craft! They're adorable!
