First Full Week With Centers!!!!!

I'm always ready to start the first full week of school because I love teaching!   Here are a few pictures of the kids reading from their first phonics readers.  The kids read and highlight target words each week in these readers and they also are paired up for partner reading.  You can see them with a partner for partner reading time below.  Of course, when they see I'm taking pictures, some of them stop reading!

While the kids were gone to Music, I took a video of the classroom.  This is what we all have to clean up after they get back before time to go home!  Yikes!  We can do this!  This first week is always the hardest!  I (we) can do ALL things through Christ who gives me (us) strength!  (We will be repeating that quite often this school year!) . I just thought you'd enjoy seeing what our room looks like sometimes when we've really been hard at work!  

All the kids finally finished up their
"David" pictures, so now they are all nicely displayed in the hallway for all to see and enjoy! (Not many people come upstairs so gotta share!)   Here they are:
