September 1 & 2 Center Time

These boys are working to complete their noun sort center!

We worked on our writing skills at my teacher table by writing in our journals and then illustrating.

Madison and Simon are working on their math facts at this center.

Simon, Lina, and James are using whisper phones to read from their phonics reader before we read aloud together.

Corbin, Marshall, and Quinn are sorting craft sticks by word family.

James and Simon are sorting the craft sticks according to their word family and recording it on the recording sheet.

I don't have enough ipads for everyone - yet!  I'm still needing 2!  (If anyone has an ipad they'd like to donate that's not too old, we'd be glad to take it off your hands!). These boys are sweet to share!

I have a short a and short e puzzle that kids can work on as a fast finisher project until we change centers.
