Rosie & Reading

I like to have the kids partner read from time to time after we read together.  It also gives me a chance to call back kids one at a time to work on reading.  Anderson and Grace are partner reading from the phonics readers.

Lucy is working on spelling her CVC words at this center.

Below, these 3 boys are enjoying some i-Pad time.

Above, Bowen and Simon are making and writing "silly sentences".

Sierra and Brooks are partner reading.

These little cutie-pie girls are enjoying their time on the i-pads.

Lina, Madison, and James are making silly sentences.

Below,  you will see a craft we were working on to help learn prepositions!  I read the book and we looked for the prepositions on every page.

Below, you can see a bunch of kiddos doing center work!

Above, I have a table full of kids working on decorating their "Rosie" the hen!

Madi and Bowen are enjoying a fast-finisher.

This group is very intently glued to the ipads.

Lucy and Cooper are putting together CVC word. pumpkins then recording them on the recording sheet.

 You're almost finished, Cooper!

Here's another little group decorating their hens.

I wish we had the space to display all of the work they did on these.  They turned out adorable!  I'm hoping they will remember prepositions after doing this!
