Finishing up March & Redheads!

We were blessed with an amazing teacher's aide for part of the year this year!  She was such a trooper, too!  Look at her agreeing to dress up like an eagle and unload kids!  How cute and how fun!  She is Mrs. Duncan ~ a.k.a. Grace's mom!

So..... since there are a couple of red-headed girls in my class this year, I can't help but show my little red-headed firecracker!  Brynleigh Kay was born on the 4th of July 2 almost 2 years ago!  She is a very funny kid!

Speaking of funny kids.......  Look at this red-head!  Lola keeps us laughing!  She is so happy and so fun!  She had to get her picture made with this sentence she made!

I always over plan!  I get so excited and find so many ideas of things we can do in a unit, and then stuff happens and we run out of time.  I wanted to do this antonym activity to go along with The Foot Book.  Well, who says we HAVE to do this during Dr. Seuss week?  I just carried it over to the next week.  Of course, I can't just hang the cute feet without a very large foot to display them around!

Below, I recall Marshall wanting me to take a picture of his creation.  I took several pictures, and I cut his head off every time!  So sorry, Marshall!  I also can't recall what he created!  I'm sure he will be able to tell his family exactly what this is!

Below, the kids are working in their i-pad center!

Below, this little group is working on making words plural by adding either "s" or "es".

And this little group is at my teacher table creating their antonym foot!

I have Bowen, Lina, Grace, Madison, and Simon in this group.  The little red-head cutie in the middle belongs to Mrs. Duncan!

We practiced making our spelling words each week during centers.  I decided to get out the playdough and they could make their spelling words this way!  This little red-head made "bagel" and was just so proud of herself!

Corbin made "moment".  Marshall must have been assisting!

Grace and Quinn put together the 120 puzzles!  Look at those cutie-pies!  Great job, girls!

This is my final red-head picture!  She actually got to come and visit during spring break!  What a blessing!
