Halloween Costumes & Trunk or Treat!

Today is "Trunk or Treat" and the kids are wearing their Halloween costumes. We had to keep some kind of routine going or things can easily become chaotic! You can see the sentences on the board that need correcting. The kids corrected them in their journals and now this group is illustrating them using stencils and colored pencils. They really look adorable in their costumes!

Above you see Beckett and Della working at their literacy center. Bless them! They both had on zip of fleecy costumes and were getting hot so they unzipped them. Aren't they adorable?!

Darci (aka Statue of Liberty), Emma (aka Elsa), and Alex are working together at the yellow center.

Lorraine is working on the life cycle of a bat.

Oakleigh (aka adorable unicorn) is also working on her bat life cycle.

Rosalie, Austen, and Scout are working together at the purple center.

Abigail and Lincoln appear to be doing a bat math center. I believe they were adding 3 numbers.

Jett, Kate, and Hallie are spinning the spinner on the apple and adding 3 numbers.

I'm not quite sure what Max is working on except posing for a picture!😀

I LOVE this picture! We ALL agreed that Lorraine had the best costume! She rocked the Old Lady! How cute and sweet are Austen and Lorraine here! 😍

I LOVE this picture of Lorraine on the playground! She put her glasses on quickly (adorably upside down) and asked me to take a picture of her! I love this girl! 😍

I had to add my two little granddaughters who live in South Carolina to the cute pictures today! I got this in a text message from my daughter today and my heart was filled with love! Left is Everly Belle, and right is Brynleigh Kay!
