October Fun & Fall Party

These picture are from October 5th - 28th!

I'm not sure if this was morning "tub time" or indoor recess!  Either way, it's cute and they're having fun!

These 4 ~ Abigail, Austen, Will, and Alex ~ put together this puzzle as a fast finisher activity!

Praise chapel ~sitting by little Miss Emma!

They are all interested in learning about whales while we were learning about the sound of the digraph "wh".  We had lots of cool videos to watch!

I try to have "Fun Fridays" as much as possible so that we can do a fun activity that goes along with what we are learning.  The kids are painting an ocean scene and then they choose which type of whale they'd like to add to their scene.

This was from our Fall Party after we went over to the park and picked out a pumpkin and played some outdoor games.

This group was pretty proud of their puzzling skills!  How cute!

More puzzles!  This has become one of their favorite fast finisher activities!

It looks like about 3 minutes are left until morning tub time is over!

We started our sentence correcting using our journals in October.  The kids have 4 sentences on the board to write and correct.  Once it's all corrected, they get to use stencils to illustrate it at the top. You can see the sentences on the board!

9 minutes left to finish your center!

I love learning about bats and the kids do, too!  They are interesting creatures!  They especially love to see the video about the baby "burrito" bats!  Click on the link in blue to see!

I love this time of the year!  Fall is great!  So many fun things to learn about!  The kids have also learned the routine, so it makes my teaching time much easier!  I love to see their little smiling faces each day!
