Today was Pajama Day, Craft Day, and Christmas Party in a Bag Day! You can see all the bags stacked up behind Henry. I got out some things for the kids to play with because we had indoor recess that day.
Pictured below is Bowen, Marshall, and Brooks building with the straws. This is definitely one of the favorite building toys.
Above, Zaylie and Lucy are playing with my little Woodkins dolls and designing outfits for them.
Grace is building with Legos.
Is it just me, or does Cooper look a little guilty? Ha ha! He wasn't doing anything but playing with Legos, but his look was hilarious!
I told y'all the kids liked to make things with pipe cleaners! James is so adorable! Wiley and friends, behind James, are having fun, too!
Sierra, Quinn, and Madison are playing with Legos as well. They are very popular!
SO many boys! We are getting ready to play our Christmas Party in a Bag exchange game. I read the story of the Birth of Jesus and they listen for the words "left" and "right" to know which direction to pass their bag. I also had to write, with a washable marker, "L" on their left hands and "R" on their right hands. Bless them! Otherwise it would be a disaster! (I've learned this from past parties!)
Here's my little sweet group of girls waiting patiently for the game to begin.
These pictures, obviously, posted out of order. I just didn't want to try to figure out how to fix that! Here are our straw-building boys with their creation!
The boys above are paying with the magnetic blocks.
Here are the girls opening their bags!
The boys are opening their's. It was so fun to hear them all squeal with delight at their fun mystery bags.
Even before Covid, I loved doing the Christmas Party in a Bag! The kids always enjoy it and it's super easy!
Look at Anderson's loot!
Evan is trying to put together a Lego toy.
I think Lola would have been delighted with anything! That's just how she is! Look at that face!
Here are the boys looking at each other's books after we did the book exchange.
The kids made this snow globe craft thanks to the PTO.
The PTO supplied us with crafts. In the past, we would have an Extravaganza day with crafts and pizza-making. Because of Covid.....
These boys are looking at their books.
"Let me see! What did you get?"
Simon!!!!! Check out that "R" on Wiley's right hand!
James and Bowen are working on their snow globe craft.
More snow globe crafting!
Henry is working very hard on his!
Well, that lets you see what we did on that fun day! In the past, parents were always invited to come. I hope you enjoyed seeing the kids at the party! It was a very fun and successful day!
