Buddy reading!

Here are some pictures of my little firsties having their very first "buddy reading" time!  They are really doing great!   Hmmmmm.....  I just noticed one of my book bins has a missing number!  I'll have to find that tomorrow!  

2nd Day Fun!

I was able to take a couple of videos of the students today enjoying some "Brain Break" time!  They are so stinking cute!  I also got some pictures of some of the students sharing their "bag of goodies" that was their first homework assignment.  Mrs. Ruby, my aide this year, was very impressed with this group of students!  We also learned about being "bucket fillers" and "bucket dippers" from the book Have You Filled a Bucket Today?   We agreed that we want to be a "bucket-filling" class!  We listened to the story of Pete the Cat: Rocking in my School Shoes ~ twice!  We didn't have enough time to finish our "David" craft or our "School Shoes" craft.  We will finish that next week!  We had another busy and fun day!
