Today, the first graders who participated in the Feed the Need fundraiser for our school, got to help pack food to send to children in need. This is one of the best fundraisers I've been a part of because it allows the students to participate in something to help others. We began by watching a video that showed how to prepare and pack the food and how to put on the hair nets. Then the kids had older students that helped them prepare. After that, the kids were divided up around the table and they worked tirelessly to help pack the food. I was so proud of them! I know some of you have already seen a lot of these pics from today on the Remind App. (Don't you just love that app?!) . Here are some additional pictures from today!
