Valentine's Day

We had a great Valentine's Day!  One student brought bubbles for the entire class!  It was a super windy day, so after recess, we went outside and took advantage of the wind!

After Spanish class, we had our class party!  The first thing we did was to make our craft. 

After our craft, we had party snacks and handed out our cards. The animal glasses were very cool Valentine cards!

All-in-all, it was a successful party!  A lot of parents helped out and I'm so very thankful!

Mrs. Bentley's chapel time

The kids learned about Jesus growing up and helping his earthly father, Joseph, by doing carpentry work. We also learned the verse:  "Jesus grew in wisdom, stature, and in favor with God and man." Luke 2:52. Here are some pictures!

Snowman craft

Mrs. Laxton taught all of the little chapel children about listening and obeying. Afterward, we all went to the cafeteria and made snowmen. The students has to listen to her directions step-by-step. They did a great job!  Afterward, we hung them all in the hallway. They looked pretty adorable!  

Reading Group and Center Time
